HYGIENIC PACKAGES FOR SOCIALLY VULNERABLE PEOPLE FROM PALILULA

Within the activities of Palilula Municipality support of socially vulnerable people in community, president of this organization of local self government of the City of Nis, Boban Dzunic, organized a meeting with the members of Rotarakt Club `Nis – Naisus` who in cooperation with social responsible companies Pharmacologist and Essence provided 30 hygienic packages for the most vulnerable residents of Palilula. Before giving the packages to the people, about the possibilities of cooperation with Palilula Municipality, donation and humanitarian work, with president Dzunic, spoke Aleksandar Cekic, president of Rotarakt Club with associates and Dobrica Zivkovic, manager in Pharmacologist company.

From the total number of people of the City of Nis who are coming to Center for social work `Sveti Sava`, 47% is from Palilula, emphasized the president of the Municipality. Today this is only one continuing part of activities that we have started with taking over the responsibility and continuance of the things the authorities before have done and worked on. The help to vulnerable population for us in Palilula Municipality is one of the priorities that we have to solve together with the City and authorized organs of the Republic. I, personally, think that together with all the employed in Municipality and with the people of good will, I will continue with activities that speak of solidarity and humanity.
`We have recognized the needs of our citizens and with this starting donation, as socially responsible company we answered the call emphasized Zivkovic, Pharmacologist. We hope that our company as second wholesale of drugs in Serbia, could help also other humanitarian programmes of Palilula`.

According to Aleksandar Cekic words, president of Rotarakt Club, the idea itself and work is the things that make Rotarakt Club as such. `We are helping people in need. This is one of many humanitarian activities that we have been realizing from 2010. We organized party and collected toys that we donated to Children hospital in Nis, collected the resources for the jeopardized people in Kraljevo, organized traditional action `Letter to a mother, gift to a child`, donated plants to Desanka Maksimovic school, helped the Society for animal protection, donates school sacks to first grade pupils, collected the clothes for the patients of Special hospital in Donja Toponica. Our Rotarakt Club represents organization of young people and young professionals, associated for realizing the aims of humanitarian work, inter human relations and general social relations, improvement of personal knowledge and know how, incitement of world peace`.
